About Jennifer
Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I enjoy my time baking up sweets for me and my family to enjoy. By making cupcakes to macaroons I do anything to redeem my sweet tooth. In addition to baking I also enjoy playing with her dog, Simba, whom I love very much. Not only that, I am also a unique person inside and out. I gain friends and meet new people by acting like herself, which is of course, being weird! I continue to go on my journey to learning and understanding new things!
Throughout all this research, I learned many things about Nagoya and Japan itself. I learned that Nagoya is a very industrial city, and not only that, but they also made Toyota! I think that's pretty cool. I also learned that Nagoya has advanced not only in technology but in its characteristics throughout the years. Lastly, I learned that Sake is a very important tradition and beverage in Japan and that a lot of work gets put into the making of Sake.

Our city- Nagoya has many environmental issues, along with a history full of hardships. Although Nagoya thrives today, there have been times in their history that have caused many deaths, and now Nagoya struggles to keep their bodies of water clean. This is very bad for Nagoya as well as the rest of Japan. Nagoya disposes other country’s rash in exchange for money. But Nagoya just ends up dumping the garbage into the water. This causes lots of pollution as well as the death of many animals that need that water for hunting, a home and much more.

From doing this project, I have come to learn many new things about Nagoya, Japan and developing solutions. Not only that, I have learned about how Nagoya was able to improve their horrible situation and environmental issues greatly with the help of the citizens' teamwork. I learned about Nagoya's major environmental problems such as pollution, too much carbon dioxide in the air, and also their decreasing forests and woodland areas. I learned many other interesting facts and information about Nagoya but there are too many to list.

About Emmy
Hey there! My name is Emmy. I enjoy spending my free time watching anime or doing something that is not productive. One of my favorite anime I have seen would have to be Sword Art Online. I also enjoy watching YouTube. Once in a while, I would go out and play volleyball or go bike on my bicycle. Another thing I enjoy doing is drawing, either digitally or traditionally. However I prefer digital art a little more since there are more features that can make drawing easier to do even though I am really bad at drawing digitally. I also try my best to do my best to do my best work, like this website here!
Throughout the making of this project I have learned many things about Nagoya and Japan! I learned that in Japan, fruit picking is a very popular activity to do which is why the Mt. Togoku Fruit Picking Park. I also I learned that Nagoya is located in one of rare plains found in Nagoya. I also learned many new ways to help conserve rainwater like the method by having a gutter that leads to an underground reservoir. Another thing that I learned was what the Japanese flag meant. I wasn't really surprised to find out that the red circle in the Japanese flag is a sun since in the historical myths of Japan, it is said that Japan was created by the Sun God.
